The FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus sensor can measure blood glucose levels over a period of 15 days. As part of the outpatient glucose profile (AGP), we read the data from your sensor, summarise it and interpret it together with you. Among other things, the report shows how much time your glucose levels spend within the target range (Time in Range), the long-term average GMI estimated from the sensor data (comparable to HbA1c), and the range of variation in your levels throughout the day. We will discuss the results with you in a face-to-face consultation and help you understand how they fit into your daily life. This service is aimed at people who have already been diagnosed with diabetes and who either already wear a sensor or are willing to wear one for around two weeks for the purposes of this analysis. The analysis is intended to complement your medical care – adjusting your treatment remains the responsibility of your doctor.
